Steve is a founding partner of Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP, a Pennsylvania law firm concentrating in estate planning, trust and estate administration and litigation, charitable gift planning and related areas of tax and personal and fiduciary law. He received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in 1977 and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1980. Until February 1, 2001 he was a partner in the Personal and Fiduciary Law department of Philadelphia-based Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, which he joined as an associate in 1983 after having practiced with the law firm of Mayer Brown & Platt in Chicago, Illinois. His practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning for wealthy individuals, as well as estate and trust administration issues. Mr. Woodward is one of three co-authors of the revised edition of the late Philip Bregy’s treatise on Selected Sections of the Pennsylvania Probate, Estates & Fiduciaries Code, a 700-page text on the Pennsylvania statutes with respect to wills, intestacy, |
